• How long does the CRA e-Course last? There are 10 lessons received in a period of about 2 to 3 months at a 7 to 10 day interval.

• How much does the CRA e-Course cost? This is a sponsored e-Course. The cost depends on the funds available form CRAguide sponsors. As of today, the e-Course is free of charge.

• Why do you require a 15 month purchase (subscription to) the e-Book "Definitive Guide For The Clinical Research Associate" to take a full CRA e-Course? Previously there was no such a requirement and all CRAguide members could take the e-Course. After a careful analysis combined with a deep consultation with both sponsors and CRAguide members, we found out that the majority of those who did the e-Course without having access to the e-Book were poorly knowledgeable. To keep the high standards of the CRAguide e-Course we require all e-Course participants to have access to good and reliable reference e-Book for a period of 15 months.

• The e-Course lasts approximately 2 to 3 months, why do you require a 15 month subscription / purchase of the above mentioned e-Book? Completing the e-Course does not make you a good CRA. You will need a good and reliable reference book for 1 year or more. CRAguide wants to make sure that after e-Course completion you have access to a good and reliable point of reference.

• Do I need a password to open CRAguide lessons. To access lessons 1 to 3, you do not need a password. To access lessons 4 to 10, you will need a password to open the lessons. A password will be sent to only those participants that have purchased a minimum 15 month subscription to the e-Book "Definitive Guide For The Clinical Research Associate".

• How do I buy a subscription to the e-Book "Definitive Guide For The Clinical research associate"? How do I use the discount coupon? 

1. Download and install the FULL version of the e-Book.
2. Open the e-Book and Click on Buy Full Version
3. Choose licence option (12 or 15 or 24 months) OR renew / extend subscription OR purchase lifetime licence. Click next
4. Select payment method. Click next

• Why has CRAguide suspended registration to CRA certification examinations and how long will the suspension last? The suspension is due to restructuring at CRAguide. This has been due to the huge interest in the CRAguide e-course and examinations. We hope to renew certification examinations in early 2008.

• I am already registered to take the examination in December 2007. What should I do? If you have already registered to take the examination, there are no changes and you will take the exam as planned. We have only suspended registering NEW candidates for the examination.

• How much will it cost me to take the certification examinations? This depends at the amount of sponsor funds available at the time you register for the examination. Up to now the administrative costs of taking the examination have been 100% covered by our sponsors and therefore free for the candidates.

• Can I get a certificate without doing a certification examination? No. You need to take the examination.

• Does the CRAguide certificate guarantee me a job? No certificate will ever guarantee you a job. Our course is currently the most cost effective with a wide recognition in the clinical research industry.

• Who are CRAguide sponsors? CRAgiude sponsors are Bio / Pharmaceutical companies and CROs. The employers of CRAs.

• I have failed to download / open the e-Book / Lessons. What is wrong? Please contact your IT expert for help. The e-Book and Lessons are .exe files and may fail to open on some computers. Before you purchase the e-Book, make a test by downloading and opening the sample e-Book.
